OPEN POSITIONS
Crew Member- Contentment operative openings are available on an event by event basis, month by month or a 6 month block. We love to have fun at Contentment Camping, and we encourage outgoing people to join our team. We are seeking crew members for our seasonal pop up accommodation tour. This is an excellent job if you love to travel or have an interest in exploring new places. Employees will be given admittance to the events we are servicing when it has been provided to us. This is a labor position.
The operative will report to the management team, and is responsible for the setup, teardown and transportation of inventory.
The work is done outside, often in hot and humid locations.
The work is strenuous and the candidate should be fit; able to lift at least 50 lbs. and work at 8 hours on your feet.
Experience driving a box truck or similar, and a clean drivers license is required.
Transportation between events will be provided. We often stay in tents on the event site so you must be comfortable in the outdoors.
Preference given to those residing in the Western NY area.

Operations Manager: 6 month seasonal position and full year positions available.
The manager’s main objective will be assisting in day-to-day operations for Contentment Camping. The manager’s responsibilities will include and is not limited to:
running events from start to finish, managing our traveling crew and day labor, interacting with and assisting clients and customers, inventory maintenance, holding employees responsible to Contentment Camping’s core values and aesthetic and working together with other Contentment Camping managers.
Requirements:
1. Courtesy: We expect the candidate to work with the premise that the customer is always right, and work in a consistent professional manner to ensure the satisfaction of both the client and the end user.
2. Communication: communicate clearly to keep management informed of progress, ensure that other employees are aware of the schedule and plan, keep excellent records.
3. Organization: adhere to Contentment Camping’s inventory management system, follow the various procedures outlined in our operations manual, keeping detailed records of inventory.
4. Consistency: like a hotel, Contentment Camping is striving for consistency in our aesthetic. Making sure cleaning, layout and inventory maintenance are consistently top notch.
5. Leadership: The candidate should be a leader in the field and a leader to our employees.
6. While onsite at a festival the manager is always on-call
Additional information:
This position entails quite a bit of traveling with long periods away from home.
The work is done outside, often in hot and humid locations.
This is a labor intensive position. The work is strenuous and the candidate should be fit; able to lift at least 50 lbs. and work 8 hours on your feet.
